How is the fabric treated for shrinkage reduction?

To keep our mattress protectors, pillow covers and bedding fabrics stable after repeated washing, we apply professional shrink‑resistant finishing before cutting and production.

First, all raw fabric rolls go through a high‑temperature pre‑washing and steam‑relaxation process. Hot steam loosens yarn tension built up during weaving, letting fibres shrink fully in advance. This removes most potential shrinkage that would otherwise happen at customers’ end.

Then we carry out a mechanical sanforizing treatment. Under controlled pressure and heat, the fabric is slightly compacted mechanically. Yarns inside the weave get rearranged into a stable state, greatly limiting further shrinkage in home laundering. No harmful chemical additives are used in this physical shrink‑control workflow.

After finishing, every batch will be sent for shrinkage lab testing. We wash samples multiple times following standard home‑wash cycles. Only fabrics passing shrinkage rate requirements can move on to cutting and sewing. For our waterproof bedding items, this shrink‑resistant process is completed before laminating the TPU membrane, so the waterproof layer stays intact and no bubbling or wrinkling occurs after washing.

Final shrinkage result: ≤ 3% after repeated household washes.
